Business & Decision rolls out Mitsubishi Motors Stately Homes Challenge equestrian eventing site in record time

Business & Decision (B&D), the specialist Oxfordshire-based interactive agency, has just launched Mitsubishi Motors Stately Homes Challenge (MMSHC) website to promote equestrian eventing and reinforce the premium car maker’s long and close association with the sport.

Working with its long-standing client, B&D has designed a content rich and simple-to-navigate information resource for Mitsubishi Motors that provides eventing enthusiasts with full information about the exciting series of MMSHC events which will be staged throughout 2008 in the grounds of some of Britain’s most beautiful stately homes.

Working to an extremely tight schedule, the B&D team was able to design and launch the site in less than four weeks from initial briefing to go-live. Given the expected level of site visitors and search engine visibility, it provides exceptional value in brand promotion compared to conventional offline approaches used to target specific audience segments.

Key functional and creative features of the site include:

  • Simple navigation
  • Event location details
  • Results announcements (from April 1)
  • Rules for event competitors
  • Links to Mitsubishi Motors main site and event locations

As well as providing information about the MMSHC events, the site will help build overall brand awareness and reinforce Mitsubishi’s class-leading position in the premium 4x4 and SUV sectors.

“Mitsubishi Motors have been involved with equestrian eventing for over a decade and our sponsorship of the Stately Homes Challenge reinforces our long association with the sport. There’s no doubt it will prove popular with eventing enthusiasts,” said Lance Bradley, Mitsubishi’s director of sales and marketing. “Once again, the B&D team has delivered just what we want, on time and on budget.”

"This is a very engaging and sophisticated way to communicate with Mitsubishi owners and potential buyers. Based on our experience with other sports event sites we have built, end user participation is very high with this type of site and it will generate substantial visitor traffic,” said Alan Bartlett, head of client services at B&D. “We predict that the site will deliver great value and brand visibility for Mitsubishi Motors throughout 2008.”

The new MMSHC website is now live at www.statelyhomeschallenge.co.uk and will be regularly updated with event results as the year progresses.
