Interakting celebrates partnership with new site launches
Interakting has recently celebrated its first year of partnership with EPiServer by rolling out new websites for 2 long standing clients
OXFORD, 24 April 2008 - Interakting™, the specialist digital agency and online marketing consultancy, has just unveiled 2 all new content-managed websites for 2 of its long-standing clients, Achilles and Braiform.
The new sites feature EPiServer 's proven content management system which was the obvious choice as both project briefs called for easy to maintain, scalable and multi-lingual sites for these large global corporations.
Achilles.com
Achilles is one of the largest supplier management service providers in the world, delivering a wide range of procurement and business solutions to major companies across the globe. We have worked with Achilles for many years and have designed and developed various B2B subscription-only online services and modules for them, all based on Microsoft .NET technology.
Interakting's latest project for Achilles has involved developing a completely new content-managed site for Achilles.com. Of major strategic importance, the site is Achilles’ primary communications channel in providing information to their customers across the globe. The Interakting team built the multi-language site in a breath-taking six weeks from initial briefing to go-live.
Based on EPiServer CMS, the technical platform was combined with an intuitive user interface and logical navigation designed by our creative team. This winning combination allows Achilles’ staff to manage the site content in a wide variety of languages from their regional offices around the world.
To date, the site includes content in ten languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Slovak and Brazilian Portuguese). Content in a further fifteen languages is currently in preparation. The site is now live at www.achilles.com.
Braiform.com
Braiform may not quite be a household name but the company is one of the world’s largest packaging and services suppliers, providing complete packaging and labelling design for leading retailers around the globe, with customers including Tesco, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams.
The company manufactures over three billion garment hangers annually in its production centres around the world. For over eight years, Interakting has worked with Braiform, to design, implement and enhance their award-winning ‘eBiz’ supply chain management system.
Following the company’s worldwide restructuring of its global businesses, Braiform asked the agency to build their new corporate website to underpin their new branding. It provides a comprehensive product catalogue making it easier for high street retailers and garment manufacturers to select the right product for their needs and to access Braiform’s worldwide logistics system.
A key aspect of Braiform’s branding is to reflect the company’s global logistics operation and the new content-managed site is fully multilingual including Chinese language. The Interakting project team worked very closely with Braiform and the creative treatment emphasises Braiform’s strong environmental credentials.
Key functional and creative features of the new Braiform site include:

- Emphasis on company’s commitment to recycling
- Access to Braiform’s global e-Biz logistics system
As well as delivering the new corporate identity and improved functionality for site visitors, Interakting built the revamped site on the EPiServer CMS platform. This was chosen to minimise ongoing maintenance costs by allowing the Braiform marketing team total flexibility when creating new and editing existing site content.
